What makes us unique
The Master of Hickstead, Douglas Bunn invented Team Chasing in 1974.
Now a hugely popular cross-country equestrian sport with Autumn and Spring seasons.
Fast, furious and perhaps not for the faint-hearted, team chasing is an incredible team sport that thrives on adrenaline.
When you think of team chasing, you envisage the so called ‘thrusters’ of the world charging over huge wide hedges at 100 miles an hour!
However it’s not completely true.
Yes you need a bit of bravery and some courage but the main prerequisite for this sport is a sense of humour and team spirit.
This relatively new and exciting sport allows you to group together with your friends to try and complete a challenge all together.
So gather up your friends and make a team of four riders, pick your event, take a picnic and make a day of it!

RIDER REGISTRATION AND MEMBERSHIP
Before entering any event, you must become a BTC member.
Membership grants you access to enter events, along with exclusive benefits such as discounts on equestrian brands.
You can sign up here: Become a Member
IF YOU REGISTERED LAST YEAR
- Find the email that will have been sent to you with your new username
- Once you have logged in using your new username, go to the membership page, located on the left hand side.
- Choose either the Annual Membership, or the Day Pass option
- Pay and Go!
REGISTER AS A NEW RIDER
- Go to the Rider Registration page.
- Fill in your personal details and submit the form.
- Once registered, your name will appear in the database for team entries.
TEAM ORGANISER REGISTRATION:
- Register as a Team Organiser via the Team Organiser Registration page.
- Once registered, they can log in via the Team Login page.
CREATING A TEAM ENTRY:
- Select an event from the available competitions.
- Enter rider names (all riders must be registered members).
- Complete the team entry and proceed to payment.
