Become a Member of British Team Chasing

Becoming a member of British Team Chasing is one of the most effective ways to support and sustain the sport.

Whether you compete, manage a team, follow from the sidelines, or simply love watching fast horses and brave riders across country, there is a membership option for you, and you can find out more about each level below.

Your membership fee goes directly back into the sport.

It helps BTC support events and organisers, improve safety, develop training opportunities, maintain the BTC entries system and continue promoting team chasing nationwide.

You don’t have to be a team chaser to join.

Anyone who supports the sport can become a member and enjoy the benefits, including Public Liability Insurance (full details are available in the Members area of the BTC website).

Membership period: 1 January – 31 December.

MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS

CompetiTION Membership – £50 / year

For riders who are competing at BTC competitions.

Competitor Members must also register on the BTC Entries system so that their membership status links correctly and they can be added to teams and complete entries.

Full Public Liability Insurance is included, along with access to all BTC resources, updates and event information.

Your subscription directly supports the running of BTC events, safety improvements, and the continued development of the sport.

Required for all riders and team managers
Registration on the BTC Entries system is essential for entering events
Includes Public Liability Insurance
Membership runs from 1 January to 31 December
Helps fund events, safety initiatives and training programmes

BECOME A COMPETITOR MEMBER

Supporter Membership – £50 / year

This membership is ideal for team managers, owners, volunteers, family members, followers of the sport and anyone who wants to be part of the BTC community without riding in competitions.

Supporters do not need to register on the BTC Entries system.

Public Liability Insurance is included, and your membership fee goes directly back into British Team Chasing, helping us deliver safer events, more training, and continued growth of the sport nationwide.

No requirement to register on the BTC Entries system
Includes Public Liability Insurance
Supports the running and improvement of BTC events
Membership runs from 1 January to 31 December

BECOME A SUPPORTER MEMBER

BHSA Member & Supporters Club Discounted Membership – £35 / year

For BHSA members, supporters and recognised hunt staff positions.

This discounted membership offers all the core benefits of the Competitor Membership at a reduced rate for those connected with the British Hound Sports Association. Members must email their BHSA SC number or Master/Hunt Staff position to BTC so their status can be verified.

If competing, registration on the BTC Entries platform is also required.

Public Liability Insurance is included, along with the knowledge that your membership supports BTC events and the wider sport.

BECOME A BHSA DISCOUNTED MEMBER

Competing in British Team Chasing

If you want to ride in BTC events, there are two things you must do:

Register on the BTC Entries system
Become a BTC Member

All riders must be BTC members and need to be registered on the BTC entries system in order to enter an event.

Only payments received through the entries system will automatically update your rider membership status.

If you pay for your membership outside the entries system, please email admin@britishteamchasing.co.uk so we can ensure your membership status is correctly upgraded on the entries platform.
