Train For Team Chase Success

TRAIN FOR TEAM CHASE SUCCESS

On March 1st we welcomed a fantastic group of riders to Loddon Court Farm for our British Team Chase training day ran by Ride with Jo Aston and Lottie Crocker Horses.  



It was a brilliant day of learning and laughter, with riders working through the core skills that make Team Chasing such an exciting and rewarding sport. The focus throughout the day was on a clear, easy-to-learn process that helps riders build confidence, understand their role within the team, and develop the communication and rhythm needed to ride safely and effectively together.

The day was led by Jo Aston and Yvonne Goss and began with targeted exercises in the school that lead into practice at perfecting the technique for riding a pen. Opportunity to watch slo-mo analysis of the morning session over lunch was incredibly insightful and really helped towards putting it all together as a team in the afternoon’s mock course. Finishing the day over tea and cake and receiving expert analysis using drone footage rounded up a superb day.

The atmosphere was supportive, sociable and great fun, with riders encouraging one another and sharing the unique camaraderie that makes Team Chasing so special. Whether riders were new to the sport or looking to sharpen their skills, everyone left with greater confidence and practical tools they can take straight into training and competition.
